    it's always crazy how sharks don't give a shit about waves, they'll hang out in shallow water in the impact zone, or even swim inside the body of a breaking wave

    We used to do this on the east cost of South Africa as kids. We'd catch so many, all you need is a cheap pair of garden gloves, a long sleeve rugby jersey, mask and an old net bag. Cook them right on the beach.

      Bloody oath they do mate. I had a friend who went in the ocean and they never found his body, i think he got stuck in a cave and the lobsters got him. The circle of life. The sharks got my other mate but we found him.

    • @Saxtafunkta-fecta
      @Saxtafunkta-fecta 7 років тому

      Sorry for your loss,in New Zealand they sent out a search party for a missing fisherman ,a friend of mine was in that party,they only found him because the saw all these lobster all in the one spot devouring him, personally I think its a hygienic way other then burying or crematorium and bring the price of lobster down,

    • @johnosandra
      @johnosandra 7 років тому

      Yeh that's confronting to think that, like going into the ocean and bobbing alone is one of my worst fears, to think of how we'll end up if we meet our demise in the ocean definitely adds to it. I heard from a friend that Lobsters are actually herbivores and they only eat rotten meat to clean their environment. Certainly hygienic if nothing else lol

      Wobbigong shark. They're a type of carpet shark, extremely well camouflaged. They like to lurk on the bottom and eat crabs & stuff that comes too close. Not dangerous unless you stand on it or stick your hand in it's face.
